Grammy winning singer and pianist Diana Krall is celebrating her 45th birthday today, November 16, while on a tour of Europe. She is in Italy today.  Krall was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, where a popular park called Diana Krall Plaza was named in her honor. Krall and her husband, rocker Elvis Costello, have homes in both British Columbia and New York. Krall and Costello have twin sons, Dexter and Frank, who will be 3 next month.

Krall’s debut CD, Steppin’ Out, was released in 1993. She now has 11 solo CDs, including her latest, Quiet Nights. The CD is now available as a deluxe edition featuring special content and a bonus DVD containing exclusive live footage.
