John Mayer Appearing On Letterman And On Live CBS Stream Today
Guitarist and vocalist John Mayer is a guest on Late Show With David Letterman tonight (November 19), but you don’t have to wait until then to see him perform. Mayer will star in an online-only show at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT from the Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan. It will be streamed at cbs.com.
Mayer will be playing songs from his latest CD, Battle Studies, which was released just this week and is expected to debut at the top of the Billboard albums sales chart. He will also be on Letterman’s regular show at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, and be joined by other guests Stephen Colbert and Emily Blunt.
Mayer says Battle Studies is a “return to music.” The CD is the follow-up to Mayer’s 2006 release, Continuum, which has sold almost 2.5 million copies and offered the worldwide hit and smooth jazz single “Waiting on the World to Change.”
