Vocalist Michael McDonald will perform the National Anthem at the 2010 Fiesta Bowl on January 4 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. The game will air on the FOX network. Since 1998 the Fiesta Bowl has been part of the Bowl Championship Series. The 2010 Fiesta Bowl pits No. 4 TCU against No. 6 Boise State.

McDonald is now touring to support his latest CD, This Christmas. He can currently be seen on PBS stations on Michael McDonald – This Christmas: A Soundstage Special Event.

McDonald will also be performing tonight (December 15) on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC. Other guests are actor Zach Braff and the producer and judge on So You Think You Can Dance, Nigel Lythgoe.

Future TV appearances for McDonald include December 19 on Dr. Phil and Dec. 22 on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.
