Dave Koz at the Emmys

With the release of his Greatest Hits album just around the corner, Dave Koz has announced that Entertainment Tonight has again invited him to perform at their extravagant Emmy award-night soiree.

Returning for the second year in a row, Dave will entertain the crowd at the famed Walt Disney Concert Hall. This year he will be performing along with Billy Idol and DJ Jason Bentley. Last year Koz played the Emmy event along with Duran Duran.

The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, September 21st.

Coincidently, Dave Koz’s Greatest Hits album will be released on September 16th which is the same date that the Emmy award show was held on last year.

This coming weekend marks the radio broadcast and world premiere of Dave’s new album. The radio special will be airing on stations throughout the country on September 13th and 14th. For more information you can check out the “Radio” section of Koz’s website.

With the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce recently announcing that Koz will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009, it’s a fitting time for a career retrospective of the world-renowned instrumentalist and composer.

Although “Dave Koz – Greatest Hits” is packed with Koz classics, documenting his career, it also provides a sneak preview of Dave’s next chapter with four brand new compositions.

“An artist’s career is a two-way street and I am grateful for my fans’ help in navigating me through this adventure,” says Dave, who will wrap up his summer tour on September 27th with a performance at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre. Thereafter he’ll tour Japan before embarking on the annual “Dave Koz & Friends At Sea.”
