Adele for Las Vegas Residency?

Feb 18 2013

Multi-platinum selling and Grammy winning singer Adele is reportedly considering a Las Vegas residency, according to the Daily Star. The new Mum likes the idea of settling in one place as she returns to performing rather than dealing with an extended world tour.  Apparently she has called on friend Elton John for some advice on taking on a Vegas gig and dealing with the stage fright she's been battling as she prepares for her performance at the Oscars this weekend.  The Star reports, "Elton’s been like a godfather to her recently, helping her settle into life as a superstar and the challenges of being a parent. He eased her mind about returning to the stage, the significance of the Oscars and how she should return to playing live as she has such a great gift.” Adele won her tenth Grammy Award earlier this month for Best Pop Solo Performance for her live version of "Set Fire To The Rain" and is said to be working on her third album.  She will perform the James Bond theme song "Skyfall," which is nominated for Best Original Song, at the 85th Academy Awards this Sunday, February 24 airing on ABC at 7pm EST.
