Alicia Keys Producing New Film

Alicia Keys is getting some help from stars Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks on her new film, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.  The two American Idol alumni will be joining actors Jeffrey Wright and Anthony Mackie in the Keys produced and George Tillman, Jr. directed drama.  The story follows two inner-city kids who are forced to care for themselves after their mothers are taken away by authorities.  Filming began in Brooklyn, New York this week.  Meanwhile, Alicia is also continuing work on her new album and has invited fans to submit their favorite photos for a video she's producing for her new single "New Day."  She posted a video on her site saying, "I had this really fly idea... I wanna know what New Day means to you.  I want you to Instagram what a new day feels like for you... whatever it means to you, I want you to share...  I'm gonna gather all your beautiful photos and make an incredible video of our moments together and our new fresh perspective on life."
