Alicia Keys to perform at The Concert for Sandy Relief

Alicia Keys will join an all-star lineup of artists for the Concert for Sandy Relief taking place at Madison Square Garden on December 12, 2012.  The event has been planned as a 'thank you' show for all of the relief workers who came to the aid of East Coast residents following Hurricane Sandy.  Keys, whose Manhattan apartment lost power during the storm, will perform along with Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, The Who, Roger Waters, Jon Bon Jovi and Kanye West at the event.  Alicia is set to release her new album, Girl On Fire, on Tuesday, November 27.  She's inviting her fans who have supported the various Sandy charities to an intimate 'Thank You' show at the iHeartRadio Theater on November 27.  Fans must win tickets for the event through iheartradio.com.  Meanwhile, Alicia will be making several TV appearances over the next week including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on November 21, CBS Person To Person on November 23, Good Morning America on November 26 and X Factor on November 29.
