Barry White Receiving Star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame

The late singer-songwriter and producer Barry White is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame today (September 12).  Born Barry Eugene Carter in Galveston, TX the Grammy Award-winning singer would have celebrated his 69th birthday today.  Emcee Leron Gubler, President & CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, and guest speakers Glodean White, wife of Barry White, along with Berry Gordy, will help unveil the star at 11:30am PDT at 6914 Hollywood Boulevard across the street from the Dolby Theatre in the category of Recording.  A live stream of the ceremony can be seen exclusively at  Barry is known and loved for his work with the Love Unlimited Orchestra and his worldwide hit "Love's Theme" in addition to his chart-topping songs "I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little More Baby," "You're The First, The Last, My Everything" and "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe."
