Beyonce Joins New Animated Film

Following her dazzling return to the stage in Atlantic City, NJ over Memorial Day weekend, Beyonce has announced she's joining the cast of a new animated movie entitled Epic.  Deadline reports the film is from the makers of Ice Age and Rio and will also include the voices of Colin Farrell, Steven Tyler, Pitbull, Amanda Seyfried and The Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson, among others.  The story follows the world of a teenage girl who is transported to a secret universe where she teams up with a group of "rag-tag" characters to save both the real and fantasy worlds.  Beyonce will voice the character Queen Tara in the film, while Colin Farrell will handle the role of Ronin.  Epic is set to be released May 14, 2013.  Meanwhile, Beyonce has also been linked to a new film from Clint Eastwood, a remake of A Star Is Born.
