Casey Abrams to Perform at Carnegie Hall

American Idol finalists and friends, Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart have been invited to perform at the famed Carnegie Hall in New York City on October 8.  They will join Grammy winning artist Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra for a musical showcase that will also feature Dee Dee Bridgewater, Sphinx Virtuosi and other special guests.  The orchestra is celebrating its 10th year in music, and Reinhart told The Hollywood Reporter that she is honored by the invitation, which came after an impromptu performance with the jazz legend in New Orleans.  Abrams released his self-titled debut album via Concord Records on June 26, 2012 and his first single "Simple Life" is at #17 on the Smooth Jazz Top 20 chart this week.
