Pianist, composer and conductor, David Benoit releases his new album Conversation on Heads Up International today (May 29).  The project features nine tracks recorded inside the legendary Steinway Hall in Manhattan, New York.  Benoit played the piano used by internationally acclaimed Chinese pianist Lang Lang for the set and says "that was a real treat."  David is the first jazz musician ever to use the Hall in its more than 90-year history to record an album.  Benoit gets some help on the project from electric guitarist Jeff Golub, guitarist David Pack and flutist Tim Weisberg, among others.  Among his many credits, David has been nominated for five Grammy Awards and serves as the musical director for the Asia America Symphony Orchestra and the Asia America Youth Orchestra.
