Diana Krall to release 'Glad Rag Doll' Oct. 2

Grammy winning singer and pianist, Diana Krall is releasing a new album called Glad Rag Doll on October 2.  Krall calls the album "a song and dance record."  It features music that's both swinging and rocking, mixed with songs of longing, solace and regret.  Diana plays an 1890 Steinway upright piano for the project and teams for the first time with renowned producer T Bone Burnett, while Marc Ribot joins on guitar.  Diana visits some of her favorite tunes from the '20's and '30's, but with a completely modern take, saying "It's 1920's music for the 21st century."  Krall is currently out on tour with her next performance set for tonight in Salt Lake City, Utah.
