Eric Clapton will Perform at Memorial Concert in NYC |

Eric Clapton will perform at a memorial concert honoring the great bluesman Hubert Sumlin, who passed away at the age of 80 last December. Clapton is set to join an all-star group of blues artists to celebrate Sumlin's life and work, including Jeff Beck, Derek Trucks, Keb Mo, Dr. John, Levon Helm, Shemekia Copeland and Ivan Neville, among many others. The show will be held tomorrow night (February 24) at the famed Apollo Theater. Meanwhile, Clapton's album Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs, the Super Deluxe Edition, won the "Best Surround Album" award at the 54th Annual GRAMMY's on February 12.
