Happy Birthday Bobby Caldwell

Birthday wishes to singer, songwriter Bobby Caldwell who is celebrating today (August 15).  Bobby was born in Manhattan and raised in Miami, where he began his musical career playing piano and guitar.  He formed his first band when he was 17, playing mostly rock music, and recorded his first album with the band called Kathmandu.  In 1978 he released his self-titled debut solo album containing his biggest hit, "What You Won't Do For Love."  His songwriting skills have earned hits not only for himself, but also for well-known artists like Chicago, Boz Scaggs, Peter Cetera and Amy Grant and Al Jarreau.  Bobby is currently on tour in support of his latest album House of Cards, featuring guest artists Dave Koz, Andrew Neu and David Horgan.  The "Bobby Caldwell R&B Show" will take the stage at the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, NY on August 24, 2013.
