Happy Birthday Norman Brown!

Happy birthday to Grammy winning guitarist Norman Brown who celebrates his big day this Sunday, December 18th.  Norman was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.  He started playing the guitar when he was 8, inspired by Jimi Hendrix and later by his father's favorite guitarist, Wes Montgomery.  He released his debut album, Just Between Us, in 1992.  In 2003, he and producer Paul Brown were awarded the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album for Just Chillin'.  Norman is currently working on a new album for release in 2012.
