Grammy winning singer and actress Janet Jackson will be honored at the amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research New York Gala next month.  The black-tie benefit honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the fight against AIDS.  The Gala will be held in New York City on February 6, the eve of New York Fashion Week and will also honor Kenneth Cole and Heidi Klum.  Since 1998, the amfAR New York Gala has become one of New York City’s most successful and high-profile AIDS benefits.  Previous honorees include President Bill Clinton, Clive Davis, Quincy Jones, Elton John and Whoopi Goldberg, among many others.
