Jimmy Cliff releases 'Rebirth' Today

Grammy winning reggae artist, Jimmy Cliff is back in action after a seven-year hiatus, releasing his new album Rebirth today (July 17).  Born in St. James, Jamaica, Cliff reached international success starring as Ivanhoe "Ivan" Martin in the film The Harder They Come.  The soundtrack contained his hits "The Harder They Come," "You Can Get It If You Really Want It" and "Many Rivers To Cross."  He also hit the top ten on the charts with his version of "I Can See Clearly Now" - featured in the film Cool Runnings.  Jimmy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 and is Jamaica's only living musician to hold their esteemed Order of Merit award.  Jimmy will kick off a tour of Europe in France this Friday, July 19.
