Grammy winning singer-songwriter, John Legend has been added to the new singing competition show Duets, replacing Lionel Richie who dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.  Legend will join previously announced artists Robin Thicke, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Nettles as the stars travel the U.S. looking for talented singers to be their duet partners.  Meanwhile, Legend is in Washington, DC tonight (May 3) and tomorrow performing at the Kennedy Center.  He joins the National Symphony Orchestra and Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings for a special 40th anniversary tribute to the late Marvin Gaye and his original landmark performance of What's Going On at the center on May 1, 1972.
