Swedish American keyboardist and composer Jonathan Fritzén releases his fourth solo album, Magical, today (August 21).  He's joined on the project by saxophonists Boney James, Darren Rahn, Jackiem Joyner and Vincent Ingala and guitarist Paul Brown. Jonathan was born in Stockholm to a Swedish mother and an American father.  As a young child he started playing drums and later added piano, bass, guitar, flute and vocals.  He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm and became one of the first students to receive a Masters degree in Jazz.  His debut album, Love Birds, was released in 2008 and made Fritzén the first keyboard player from Sweden to release a smooth jazz CD.  Jonathan's next performance will be at the Las Vegas Jazz Festival on September 14.
