Keiko Matsui, Earl Klugh Releasing New Albums July 30

Keyboardist Keiko Matsui is set to release her new album Soul Quest via Shanachie Records tomorrow (July 30).  The set features guest performances by saxophonist Kirk Whalum, bassist Marcus Miller and guitarist Chuck Loeb, who co-wrote three of the songs and co-produced five tracks on the album.  Keiko, who is celebrating 25 years in the music business, kicks off a late summer tour in support of the new album with a show in Trenton, MI on Sunday, August 4, 2013.  Earl Klugh is also releasing his new CD tomorrow entitled Handpicked via Concord Records.  The Grammy Award-winning guitarist self-produced the solo album and is joined on the set by Bill Frisell, Vince Gill and Jake Shimabukuro.  Earl will celebrate the album release with a week of shows at the Blue Note in New York City from July 30-August 4, 2013.
