Kenny G to Launch New Radio Show June 17

Kenny G is set to launch a new radio show, "Contemporary Jazz with Kenny G," featuring songs from the past 50 years of jazz.  The music will feature a diverse array of artists including; Grover Washington Jr., Dave Grusin, Bob James, Dave Brubeck, Pat Metheny, Ramsey Lewis, Esperanza Spalding, Wes Montgomery, Chris Botti, Diana Krall, Cannonball Adderly, Herb Alpert, Ray Charles, Chuck Mangione and Gato Barbieri to name a few.  Kenny shares, “I love jazz, and grew up listening to all the great masters of jazz as well as the more contemporary artists.  It’s been great fun going through and selecting songs for the show. Lots of memories and some new discoveries too.”  The Grammy winning saxophonist is the top-selling instrumental artist of all-time with more than 75 million albums sold worldwide.  "Contemporary Jazz with Kenny G" is a two-hour show that will air Sunday evenings at 7PM on the Smooth Jazz Network beginning June 17.
