Kim Waters released This Heart Of Mine, his 17th album, today (October 25). The project features the multi-instrumentalist playing his signature saxophones, plus keyboards, guitar, bass and vocals. He's joined by soul singer Calvin Richardson on the ballad "Am I a Fool." Waters also added a few cover tunes to the set including the Alicia Keys/Jay-Z hit "Empire State Of Mind" and R. Kelly's "Love Letter". Kim has been a favorite of smooth jazz and urban 'Quiet Storm' formats for most of his career and this summer one of his songs was featured in the movie Larry Crowne, starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. He says of his music, "I enjoy helping others and it is my hope that my music in some way brings positivity to the world. I believe that the world cannot live without new music. I know I can't!"
