Mary J. Blige Releasing Christmas Album October 15

Mary J. Blige will release her first-ever holiday album entitled A Mary Christmas on October 15, 2013 via Matriarch/Verve Records.  The nine-time Grammy Award winner collaborated with legendary producer and Chairman of The Verve Music Group, David Foster who has produced multi-platinum Christmas albums by Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Celine Dion.  Blige is joined on the set by Barbra Streisand, Marc Anthony, Jessie J and The Clark Sisters.  Mary's music will also be featured in the film Best Man Holiday in theaters on November 15th and she will appear on the big screen in the film Black Nativity opening November 27th.  The movie stars Jennifer Hudson and features actors and musicians like Angela Bassett, Tyrese Gibson, Forest Whitaker and rapper Nas in supporting roles.
