Maxi Priest for Bermuda's John Lennon Tribute

Bermuda will honor John Lennon's memory for two days this summer and fall with a series of special events during the "Double Fantasy Bermuda Tribute," taking place June 21, 2012 and Sept. 21, 2012 at the Bermuda Botanical Gardens. The special tribute is named after Lennon's comeback album, Double Fantasy, which was inspired by his life-changing journey to Bermuda in 1980.  Following his six-week Bermuda vacation that unlocked a five-year writer's block, Lennon completed 25 songs. The album, named after a flower he had seen in the Bermuda Botanical Gardens, topped the charts before he was tragically killed a month later by a deranged fan in New York City.  The Bermuda Tribute includes various exhibits, concerts and a Tribute CD featuring Maxi Priest, Paul Carrack, Nils Lofgren and Biggie Irie, among others.  The album, Bermuda Fantasy: A Tribute to the Music of John Lennon, will be released on September 21 and features Maxi Priest on the song "All My Loving."
