Mindi Abair Joins Max Weinberg's Band

Max Weinberg, longtime drummer for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, has just formed a loose R&B group for a handful of summer dates.  And taking the saxophone role on some of those dates is Mindi Abair.  Abair just joined Weinberg and Bill Champlin from the group, Chicago, at a stop in Minneapolis, where she helped pay tribute to the late Clarence Clemons.   She'll also be on board at shows in Milwaukee and Newport Beach, California.
